Apprenticeships // Become an apprentice

What is an apprenticeship?

Broken down into the simplest description, an apprenticeship is a way to work, learn, earn money and receive a qualification.

There is a straightforward application process to go through - you apply for a specific position and if successful are offered an apprenticeship.

Your apprenticeship is completed over a fixed period of time, often 12-18 months, working for an employer who will support you and with time taken out of your working week for learning.

At the end of this time you will be equipped with the qualifications and experience to confidently continue in the world of employment.  Many apprentices are offered a permanent position with the same company after completion, though the choice is yours.
