Apprenticeships // Become an apprentice

Training providers explained

You will usually spend one day a week receiving training during your apprenticeship.  This can take place in various locations including your local college or nearby private training provider.  Some employers even provide this training at your place of work.

To be eligible to deliver apprenticeship training for apprenticeships that start on 1 May 2017, or after, organisations must be listed on the register of apprenticeship training providers (RoATP).  Organisations that are listed on the RoATP have been through an application process that considers due diligence, capability, quality and financial health to assess their capability to deliver high-quality apprenticeship training.

We have featured available apprenticeships from several local training providers on this website. There are more, nationally based, but on this site you will find all those within reasonable travelling distance from East Cambridgeshire.
