Apprenticeships // Become an apprentice

How do I get an apprenticeship?

Search or browse the Apprenticeship jobs section of our website to find a local apprenticeship that you are interested in.

Read through all the information in the description carefully, and check if you meet the eligibility criteria.

There will be details within the description of where to send your CV and possibly a covering letter to.

Keep a note of what you have applied for and where you have sent your information to.  It may be worth getting in touch with the company again if you don’t hear back after a couple of weeks.

If you’re still at school doing your GCSEs or A Levels you can still apply - but you won’t be able to start an apprenticeship until you have officially finished school.  Some employers won’t take you on until after you’ve got your exam results.
